Our Track
Record For more than 25 years, IVT has built a reputation as a
high-quality, cost-effective, long-term outsourcing custom enclosures
partner or supplier to some of the
telecommunications and
electronics industries' largest manufacturers, and to a growing number
of companies in other industries including
cable television,
electronic controls,
electrical utilities,
industrial Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs),
computer servers and
energy resources.
Our Longstanding Customers
Inventronics’ list of longstanding blue-chip enclosure customers
features many of the world’s largest
telecommunications and
electronics firms including some that have been buying high-quality
enclosures from IVT for more than 25 years. Although many of these customers were hurt by
a prolonged slowdown in the telecommunications sector, they are experiencing a long-awaited
rebound, and helping Inventronics to experience a similar rebound.
Our New Customers
To diversify our revenue base, we have also begun serving several
additional enclosure markets including
cable television,
electronic controls,
electrical utilities,
industrial Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs),
computer servers and
energy resources.
Our New Products
We have introduced a new product line –
enclosure pedestals – in response to demand from the
telecommunications,
cable television and
electrical utility industries.
Our Market Opportunities
The
global market for enclosures is huge because such a large proportion
of all
telecommunications,
electronics,
cable television,
electronic controls,
electrical utilities,
industrial Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs),
computer servers and
energy resources equipment is housed in some form of enclosure.
Our Outsourcing Capabilities Many large communications and
electronics manufacturers today are discovering it is a disadvantage to
be responsible for
all of the manufacturing processes in-house. A growing number are
concluding they can reduce their costs and increase their flexibility by
contracting out some of their manufacturing processes to firms such
as Inventronics.
Inventronics is capitalizing on this outsourcing trend
by establishing itself as an ideal world-class partner to large
communications and electronics manufacturers. Inventronics is doing so
through:
- global quality standards;
- sophisticated manufacturing technology;
- sophisticated management and operating processes to
consistently achieve lowest-cost production;
- additional cost reductions through specialization;
- a clear understanding of customer requirements and
ultimate product applications;
- reduced organizational structure to achieve rapid
market response;
- formal processes to achieve continuous operating
improvements.
Our Operations We serve our customers across
North America from our manufacturing facility in
Brandon, Manitoba that features state-of-the-art equipment and
processes, plus quality management systems that have been independently
audited and registered to the stringent new
ISO
9001:2000 standard, with its strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
We have consolidated all of our enclosures production in our
wholly owned Brandon facility. This strategy, when coupled with our
recent implementation of sophisticated productivity management systems,
is positioning IVT for major margin and profitability gains.
Our Chief Executive
Before joining Inventronics in 2000,
President Dan Stearne helped
to lead PFB Corporation, a publicly
traded supplier of moulded beaded plastic foam products to the automotive
industry (including General Motors, Daimler Chrysler, Honda and Suzuki)
plus expanded polystyrene foam insulation products to the construction
industry.
Mr. Stearne brought to
Inventronics the same world-class quality and
manufacturing standards, plus experience in a highly competitive
industry with very tight margins, that were essential to PFB’s
success in achieving Tier One supplier status in the automotive industry
at that time.
