Inventronics' President and CEO came from this highly competitive world. Before joining IVT in May 2000, Dan Stearne helped to lead PFB Corporation, a publicly traded supplier of moulded beaded plastic foam products to the automotive industry (including GM, Daimler Chrysler, Honda and Suzuki), plus expanded polystyrene foam insulation products to the construction industry.

Dan brought to Inventronics the same world-class quality and production standards, plus experience operating in an industry with extremely thin margins. In short, he knew what it would take for Inventronics to become a world-class outsource custom enclosures manufacturer, and is executing a plan to ensure that happens.

Dan J. Stearne - Director, President & CEO - Photo
Dan received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and economics from the University of Calgary in 1972. After graduation, he worked with an international firm of chartered accountants and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. From 1977 to 1982, he was the chief financial officer of two public companies in the oil and gas industry. In 1983, Dan established Tanager Investments Ltd., a predecessor corporation to, and shareholder of, PFB Corporation. He was PFB's Chairman from 1984 until 1991, and Executive Vice President and CFO from 1993 to May 2000 before joining Inventronics.
